DOMETIC CFX3 55QT Ice Making Fridge Freezer (55IM)

The CFX3 55IM is portable single zone fridge freezer with a Rapid Freeze Plate. This allows the single zone CFX3 to make ice even while the cabinet temperature is set for refrigeration. The ice trays are removable and other items can be kept on the Rapid Freeze Plate for ultimate flexibility. 

Dometic's updated CFX3 line of portable fridge/freezers is perfect for overland adventures, and is equipped with one of the highest performing and quietest compressors on the market. CFX3 fridge freezers are capable of achieving sub-zero temperatures with an ultra-low power draw from your 12V battery, achieving an A++ energy efficiency class rating. Compared to a standard ice-requiring cooler, a fridge/freezer gives you 60% more usable space for the same exterior dimensions and 100% freedom from soggy, water logged food.

What's new with the CFX3 model? The CFX3 internal compartment has been redesigned to eliminate the dairy compartment, which means more internal storage space in the same external footprint. Now all inner walls of the CFX3 unit are cooled with an extended evaporator so you can store an even more impressive amount of fresh food and drinks. Dometic also souped up the USB charging port so you can feed those power-hungry small electronic devices. The CFX3 USB port is 4x more powerful and is now conveniently located right next to the new, sleek high-resolution color display.
